Another "brick in the wall" by professor Carol Vargas

 Teachers must realize how important, relevant and perenial their influence is going to dig on their student´s lives.


Many times you will hear people complaining about Costa Ricans having lack of criticism or interest in politics or the environmental problems that affects everyone. However, this is something that can be changed at school. As a professor, you carry a huge responsibility on your back. Every single student is going to learn what You teach them, every child is going to see in you the "model of life" to follow.  If you start doing things different, then you will see a change. Don´t just be someone else talking about how kids are and Do something about it. We can not  pretend to control the minds of our students but we sure can channel their thinking in the right direction. So I ask you. Are you another bick in the wall too?
